Join us for The Next Beat of Sacramento, a celebration of music, creativity, community, and the graduating students of DJ Gio’s DJ Academy.
When: Wednesday, October 21st
Time: 6-8PM
Where: 1722 J Street, Suite 226
These emerging DJs have spent weeks learning the craft - from beat matching and mixing to building confidence behind the decks - and now it’s time to hear what they’ve been working on.
🎧 DJ Academy Graduate Showcase
Watch the next generation of Sacramento DJs take the decks and put their skills on display.
🎤 Special Guest Speakers
Hear from community voices working to address violence and create safer, stronger communities through awareness, education, and action.
🤝 Fundraiser
Proceeds from the event will support the work of the DJ Gio Life Is Music and Art Foundation and its efforts to use music, art, and mentorship as tools for positive change.
This isn't just a graduation. It's a room full of people who believe that music can create connection, creativity can create opportunity, and community can create change.
Come celebrate the graduates. Support the work. Hear the sounds of Sacramento.
Because the future has a soundtrack 🎶 and these DJs are just getting started.
