I understand small business because I am a small business.
After meeting client after client at coffee shops, trying to make a garage photo studio work, getting pulled away by random chores of working from home, and attending networking events that felt more transactional than relational, I kept thinking, there has to be a better way.
For nearly 20 years, I've run my own photography business, and since 2017, I've helped small businesses and nonprofits grow through social media and content creation. I've spent my career working alongside entrepreneurs, so I understand both the excitement and the challenges of building something from the ground up.
I wanted a place where work and community could exist together. A place where entrepreneurs could focus without feeling isolated, artists could create, professionals could meet with clients confidently, and neighbors could gather, collaborate, and support one another.
So I built it.
Guava House was created as a solution to the challenges I experienced as a small business owner and the same challenges I saw so many others facing. It's more than coworking. More than event space. More than meeting rooms.
It's a place where people come to work, create, connect, and grow.
Because I know what it's like to build something from the ground up, my mission is simple: to make growing a business feel a little less lonely and a lot more possible.
